Avatar video and product video are different crafts
The hard part of avatar video is the performance: whether the delivery lands, whether the lip sync survives scrutiny, whether the script sounds like a person. The hard part of product video is fidelity: whether the finish of the material is right, whether the proportions are honest, whether someone who receives the item will feel the video told the truth.
They pull in opposite directions. Avatar tools are optimised to make a generated person convincing, and they are increasingly good at it. Product work is optimised to make a real object accurate, which is a constraint rather than a generation problem — the answer already exists and the job is to match it.
So a platform strong at one is not automatically weak at the other, but it is not automatically strong either, and the thing worth testing before you commit is your own product rather than the demo.
