The brief
Client: Portfolio sample
A portable blender has to prove two things in a single short ad, and they pull against each other. It has to blend properly, which is a kitchen demonstration, and it has to be portable, which is a scene outside the kitchen. Most ads for this product pick one and leave the other as a claim.
There is also a credibility problem specific to the category. Small battery blenders have a reputation for not coping with anything harder than a banana, so the demonstration has to put visibly difficult ingredients in — leaves, frozen fruit — and then show the finished texture, or the viewer assumes the worst.
The brief called for more than one creator read of the same script, which is the usual way a UGC ad is tested: the same beats and the same product, delivered by different people, so a media buyer can find which face the audience responds to without paying for two productions.
How we made it
The ad runs the script twice with two different presenters, and this cut interleaves them. The first opens in a bright kitchen with a woman holding the blender up beside her face, talking to camera, with fruit laid out on the worktop behind her. The second presenter picks the same script up in the back half. Watched straight through, the change of face partway is the variant structure showing, not a continuity error.
The middle is the demonstration, and it stays on hands and product. Spinach goes into the jar first — deliberately, because leaves are the ingredient people doubt — followed by banana and mixed berries. The jar is shown packed with whole ingredients, then blending, then holding a smooth pink drink with no visible pieces left. That before-and-after inside the same vessel is the whole proof.
Portability is handled by simply leaving the house with it. The second presenter drinks straight from the blender jar outdoors with palm trees behind her, which makes the point that the jar is the bottle without a line of copy explaining it.
It closes back in the kitchen on the product beside a poured glass, so the last frame shows both what it is and what it makes.
The video is AI-produced. Both presenters, the kitchen and the exterior are generated, and the blender is re-rendered from one set of references in every shot, which is what keeps the sage-green body, the lid and the control identical across two different creator reads.
Worth knowing
A portfolio sample, not client work. The name moulded into the blender body is a fictional brand created for this concept piece; it is not a real product and not a client.
The two presenters are deliberate creator variants of one script, not a continuity error.
The plan and turnaround shown on this page describe what a video like this takes on our current plans. They are not the terms of a particular order.
