Face Cream Jar Product Demo Video

A 30-second demo for a copper face cream jar: the jar dropping into water, the cream up close, application at a mirror, and a field at sunset.

The brief

Client: Portfolio sample

The brief was a demo video for a face cream in a copper-coloured jar with a matching lid and a small gold logo. In skincare the jar is what a shopper sees on the shelf, but the cream is what they are actually buying, and a video has to sell both.

A buyer comparing creams online wants to know the texture — how thick it is, how it sits on a fingertip, how it looks on skin — and whether the product feels premium enough for its price. A still of a closed jar answers neither question.

Covering all of that for real is several shoots in one: splash work in a studio tank, macro shots of the cream, a model at a mirror and an outdoor scene. Each needs its own set and its own lighting.

How we made it

It opens with the jar dropping through water in a burst of bubbles, a fast, bright first second that stops a scroll. The next shots open the lid on a swirl of white cream, and a ribbon of cream pours between two floating jars, which shows the texture without anyone needing to say “rich”.

The middle section brings in a model: resting her chin on her arms beside the jar, then with a dab of cream on her cheek, then at a bathroom mirror smoothing it in. Between those shots the jar appears in still-life setups — three jars stacked on a wooden block, one on stones with moss and a bare branch — so the pack gets as much screen time as the result.

A fingertip pressing into the cream is the closest shot in the video, showing how soft it is and how it lifts. The jar then sits on a glass shelf beaded with water.

Near the end a split-screen grid recaps the campaign in one frame, and the last shot is outdoors at sunset, with the model in a white dress holding the lid overhead in a field and the jar in the foreground.

Worth knowing

This is a portfolio sample rather than a client order, so the production details show what a video like this takes on our current plans. At 30 seconds it runs right up to the Growth plan’s 30-second limit.

Glowmar is an invented brand made for this sample, not a real product. On client work the jar, label and logo are built from your own packaging and checked against it before delivery.

The master is 480×854, so it plays a little softer than the 720×1280 clips elsewhere on this page. The video is AI-produced. Some platforms ask advertisers to label realistic AI-generated video, and a clip like this may need that label.
